2.1 Autopilot Mode
Autopilot mode streamlines brewing with xPods—just scan xPod or recipe card, and the machine automatically adjusts grinding and brewing settings. Enjoy barista-level coffee hands-free, with no complex techniques required.

Tap NFC onto the top of the machine

Open the xPod lid and pour coffee beans into the grinder.

Place the empty xPod dripper on the xPod dock.

Place a carafe with a capacity of over 300ml and a height of less than 100mm (3.93 inches) underneath to collect the coffee.

Press the ▶️ right-side knob to start Autopilot mode.

When the ☕️ icon appears on the machine, enjoy your coffee.
Virtual Card: Using the xBloom App to Send Recipes

Ensure the machine is connected to the xBloom App. For help with Bluetooth setup, please refer to the Bluetooth Connection guide.

Place a carafe with a capacity of over 300ml and a height of less than 100mm (3.93 inches) underneath to collect the coffee.

Select the corresponding recipe on the App and tap the start button ▶️ in the app to initiate.

Open the xPod lid and pour coffee beans into the grinder.

Place the empty xPod dripper on the xPod dock.

When the ☕️ icon appears on the machine, enjoy your coffee.
💡Tip: Should you wish to adjust the brew profile on the go, you can manually tweak grind size and water-to-coffee ratio by turning the left-side and middle knobs.
2.2 Copilot Mode
Copilot Mode enables you to brew your own coffee beans using the xBloom App. You simply need to customize existing recipes to match your taste or craft unique recipes for your beans, and let the machine brew with barista-level techniques.

Place appropriate-sized filter paper into Omni Dripper 2 and plug it onto the machine's dock arm (please remove the xPod dock first).

Use a magnetic dosing cup to help weigh the required amount of coffee beans.

Scan the NFC recipe card and proceed to edit.

Adjustments can be made via the machine's panel knobs to tailor settings such as grind size, rotational speed,water-to-coffee ratio, water temperature, pour style, and number of pours, to dial in your desired recipe.
💡Tip: If you only wish to brew without grinding, simply turn the left-side knob all the way to the right until it displays "OFF" to disable the grinding function.

After your recipe is dialed in, press the right-side knob ▶️ to start.

Pour coffee beans into the grinder.

2.3 Free Solo Mode
FreeSolo Mode allows for independent operations of the Studio's standalone trio modules: grinder, brewer, and scale. Ideal for anyone looking to utilize these specific functions separately—whether it's brewing tea, grinding beans, or weighing coffees. Each function can be operated on its own, meeting a variety of usage needs.
2.3.1 Grinder Module
On the main LED interface of the machine, press the left-side knob to access the grinder module. Adjustments can be made when the grinding icon is lit. During grinding, press any knob to pause; press the right-side knob ▶ to resume.

Left-side Knob: Adjusts grind size.

Middle Knob: Adjusts the rotational speed (RPM: Revolutions Per Minute).

Right-side Knob: Default display ▶️ to start; press knob to initiate grinding. Rotate to display 'X' and press to exit the current interface.
💡Tip: When grinding individually, press▶to start the grinding function before pouring in the beans.

💡Tip: The grinder offers 80 grind settings in total. Setting 1 produces a fine grind, ideal for espresso while setting 80 delivers a coarse grind, suitable for French press and cold brew.
🔍 Please Note: It is recommended that each grinding session should not exceed 30 seconds, with at least a 60-second interval between sessions. For grinding espresso or especially hard coffee beans, consider extending this interval.
2.3.2. Brewer Module
On the main LED interface of the machine, press the middle knob to access the brewer module. Adjustments can be made when the brewing icon💧 is lit. During brew, press any knob to pause; press the right-side knob ▶ to resume. Once pouring begins, the machine screen will display the pouring time and the amount of water dispensed.
Operating on Machine: Default water output is set to 250 ml (8.45 oz). Pressing any button will pause dispensing in real time.
Operating on the App: You may set the desired water output in advance, with a maximum capacity of 500 ml (16.9 oz). Access to adjust flow rate between 3-3.5 ml is available only on the app.

Centered: Dispense vertically in a single line.

Spiral: Dispense from the center in a circular motion outward, then from the outer edge inward.

Circular: Dispense with the largest radius possible.

Middle Knob: Adjust temperature between Room Temperature (RT) to Boiling Temperature (BP); 40-98°C / 104-208°F or BT.

Right-side Knob: Default display ▶️ to start; press knob to initiate brewing. Rotate to display 'X' and press to exit the current interface.

Machine operation: Turn the left knob to the right to turn the head, the machine display OFF, you can turn off the grinding function.
2.3.3. Scale Module
On the main LED interface of the machine, press the right-side knob to access the scale module. Adjustments can be made when the weighing icon is lit.

Left-side Knob: Press to tare, which zeroes out the scale.

Right-side Knob: Press to exit the scale module.
