The 'ERROR' message appears, it may be due to the voltage difference between the machines used across regions. If the voltage is the same, please try to plug into a newer plug socket and forgo using any power strips.
Here are some common reasons and tips to avoid this in abnormal circumstances:
Please confirm your machine model to ensure that your machine matches the voltage standard in your region.
US machine is 120V~ | 60Hz | 1400 W. On top of guaranteeing the voltage needs to remain stable at 120v, you must also make sure in your zone the frequency is 60Hz and your converter can supply up to 1400 W. In your case, the machine makes automatic detection when power is not enough to perform and will shut down for protection.
Please try to check the specifications, and try to purchase a converter with a screen that displays the actual current to be sure. Ultimately, we cannot specify enough that we do not recommend carrying a 110v machine outside of the US and use in countries other than purchased. This will negatively impact the performance of the machine and void the warranty.
US version with machine specifications :120V~ | 60Hz | 1400 W
CN version with machine specifications :220V-240V~| 50Hz/60Hz | 1200W
To test without wasting any coffee, please use the brewer module directly to dispense water at the "BP - boiling point" by clicking on the middle-knob. This is the function that draws the most power for the machine and hence you can see if the warning stops appearing.
If you are still experiencing the "error" situation after performing the above, please contact our customer support and provide your user email, machine SN code, and a video recording of the occurrence for further investigation.
Unfortunately, the current US standard version is not designed for use outside the US/Canada regions, and we do not recommend using it in other areas. Therefore, we must make the disclaimer that usage by the machine outside of the designated country of purchase voids the warranty. We are working on obtaining certification for other regions.
